The YouTube Cover That Made Me Weep

Once in a while I head to YouTube and search for names of my songs to see if anyone has posted a new "cover" of one of them. I've watched dozens upon dozens of adorable children singing my songs, and every single one of them is special to me. Many of them have made my eyes misty. But only one has made me weep.

When I started watching this video, I had no idea that it would forever change me. I loved seeing all of their sweet faces. I loved watching them play together. But most of all I loved reading what they wrote on their signs to show some of the things they were thankful for. A lot of their signs were exactly like the ones in our video, but a few of them were different. I held it together until the 2-minute mark of the video before a flood of instant tears brought my life into perspective.

When was the last time I was truly grateful for a pair of shoes?
